Hello Everyone!
I just love the beautiful quote above. It is so true! It is a Choice to be optimistic; to keep happy and it IS easier for some than others. But it is worth the effort. Your whole body, mind and spirit are affected. When we are sad our body bends and curls in. By doing this we are self-protecting, but we are also limiting how much oxygen is delivered to our organs; to our brains. This in turn automatically makes us feel more tired and more sad. When we are angry we tense our body and we hold our breath. By doing this our blood pressure goes up which in turn makes us feel more frustrated and angry. Sometimes we have to make an effort to make ourselves feel better. We have to shake things off; stand up tall and breathe in deep breaths and exhale loud ones. We can’t always change what’s going on around us, but we can change what’s going on inside us.
If you have not signed up for the Series, there are still spots to “drop in”; don’t feel like you have to wait until the next Series to begin as the teachings are all ongoing.
